My name is Apollo. I'm a 3.5-year-old, mixed breed, short coat, house/crate trained boy who is great with other dogs. I'm also up to date on vaccinations and on a Heartworm preventative as well as testing Heartworm Negative.
I'm a Gemini who likes long walks, playing in the yard, as well as cuddling on the couch (or bed, whichever you so choose), just as long as we are together.
My foster Mom says I'm a mixture of couch potato & ball of energy. I love to play fetch but I haven't yet mastered the "return" - my foster Mom and I are working on it and I'm having so much fun while I figure it out.
I enjoy running in the fenced yard with my foster sister and brother. Foster Mom calls me "A hunk of burning love" and a "good boy."
I know my fur-ever family or person is out there and looking for a good dog that has more love than he knows what to do with.
If you'd like to find out more about making this perfect pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc
*If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy.
Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

More about this rescue
Community Outreach
When times get tough, we support members of our community so they can keep their pets. This includes heartworm preventative medication, vaccinations, annual examinations, and food. Our goal is to reduce the number of owner surrenders at local shelters.
We're committed to spay and neuter through education and facilitation. We work with veterinarians to provide low cost spay and neuter surgery options. We recognize that low cost may still be too expensive and provide sponsorship on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you need assistance
Dog Rescue
We rescue our dogs from high kill North Georgia shelters and ensure they pass our behavioral tests, are medically fit and vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. They are fostered in loving homes before being adopted out to carefully screened forever homes.
