Meet English Ellie - MN
Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00, transport fee included, for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
Ellie is currently at rescue in Minnesota, however, upon approved application and home check, transport to Nebraska and Colorado will be arranged.
We are currently accepting applications for Ellie. Ellie is a 6-year-old English Bulldog who has been released from an area breeding facility. Her DOB is 07.09.2017. Ellie is a gentle, quiet girl. She weighs approximately 50#. She is Black and white in coloring. Since she has just been released from a breeding facility so the world and outdoors is a whole new environment to her. She does get along with other dogs, kids, and it appears, all humans.
She now has the opportunity to run in a fenced yard during the day. She is very friendly and loves human attention
We are looking for a home with a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Ellie acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Ellie to acclimate to the changes in her life.
