Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Highland Lady has come out of her shell SO much and now runs around the house making some of the quickest turns and hurtles over obstacles. Her play behavior is one of the cutest I've seen. She pounces with all four paws and chirps and rolls with her toys, and she has learned to be so very quiet as to not attract another kitty who might come and spoil the fun. Bedtime is her favorite because she can climb into my lap and get ALL the attention she wants before she settles to sleep either beside Hereford (up for adoption) or on a bed with Luna (foster's cat). She does like to have other kitties around, but she can be independent when the opportunity arises without any problems or anxiety. She has a lower immune system, so she is on lysine daily and enjoys the vaporizer if she gets congested.
She is not a fan of visitors in the house, but she didn't stay under the bed and was willing to come out in the open, but the moment any attention comes her way she is off to the basement or bedroom in a flash. It took a long time for her to trust my husband, but now he can pet her and pick her up without her instantly wanting to run away. She will even come to him for pets when he puts down the dry food for the group. Please email to set up a meet and greet with Highland!
