Meet Zephyr born 2018. Zephyr came to Saving Hope in rough shape. He came to the shelter with lacerations all over his body. He was set to be euthanized, but we couldn't let that happen. We got Zephyr medial care and into a foster home, and this boy has blossomed!
Zephyr is a curious boy and warms up quickly to new people. While not a lap cat, he enjoys laying on your chest for head scratches pets. When he's not cuddling, he loves to bask in the sun or sit on the windowsill. Zephyr is a very playful boy. He could chase his wand toy and laser pointer all day. He is vocal and will let you know when he is hungry, wants to play, or just wants some love. Zephyr has perfect litter manners and is vetted. Zephyr would potentially do ok with another calm pet with very slow introductions.
Zephyr is FIV + which just means she has a compromised immune system and can't go outside. He will need her regular vet visits. This isn't contagious and is only spread by blood contact with only other cats. Zephyr is healthy and doing great. FIV+ cats can have very long and healthy lives with good care! It's nothing to be afraid of and we are happy to provide further information.
