Meet Peach, the cutest little kitten! She is a spunky little cat who loves to race around and then snuggle up on your lap when she's all tuckered out. But she doesn't stop there—Peach has a unique habit of pawing at your chest until you cradle her like a baby, and sometimes she even perches on your shoulder for a few seconds! At bedtime, she'll rotate between her cozy cat tree and curling up between your legs on the bed. And don't be surprised if you wake up to her loud purring as she comes to cuddle with you in the morning.
Affectionate and outgoing, Peach is a social butterfly who seeks out attention from people, whether they're familiar faces or new friends. She's usually unfazed by strangers and will happily approach them for pets and head bumps. This sweet girl has been a foster companion to other kittens and an adult female cat, getting along splendidly with them all. She's a playful little whirlwind, known for her random zoomies around the apartment and her somersaults during playtime. Peach's favorite toy is the "cat dancer," and watching her go crazy over it is an absolute delight!
Peach's journey began at an out-of-state shelter, but now she's ready to find her forever home. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
