My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED! Libby is a spayed, 75 lb., 3 year old Labrador Retriever. She is energetic, playful and loves a good game of tug. She is currently doing well with leash training and will continue to brush up on her social skills. Libby was rescued by her current owner (who is now very ill and unable to care for her) at about a year old, from an abusive situation and has thrived with love and kindness. She has just started formal classes and has proven to be a very quick learner. Libby does have fear based reactivity and needs slower introductions so a calmer home brings out the best in her. Once she trusts you and your people, she is relaxed and your best friend. A few soft words and good treats work wonders as she is food motivated. Libby is muzzle and crate trained and is fully vaccinated. She has lived with a very, dog savvy cat in the past, but a home where she is the only pet is preferred so more positive socializing can be achieved.
