Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I met Huey in Tennessee at a dog park. He’s a 10-month old sweetheart.
His caretaker adopted him in late June from a shelter in Texas. She is older and became fearful that Huey would pull her down or make her fall. She told me that she was going to surrender him to the kill shelter in town, so I decided to bring him back home with me as a foster.
Huey is very loving and gentle. He’s been a great buddy on our road trip. We have stopped at several dog parks and he has been delightful.
He is house-trained, but keep in mind that he’s still mostly a puppy and needs consistent reinforcement through all of these transitions.
Huey has quickly adapted to our schedule. He’s a really big snuggler and has shown absolutely no aggression. He’s funny and likes tough chew toys. He’s a husky pup so daily exercise will be important. I’d really love to keep him but two young dogs is a bit too much for me.
