We are all volunteers.
Bongo is a a full ShihTzu breed , just under 1 year old and about 7 pounds, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He comes from Arkansas and will be in Rhode Island for his forever home August 4. We are accepting and choosing his families NOW who will be invited to meet him IMMEDIATELY....so do not delay in filing an application.
BONGO IS A SWEET FRIENDLY DOG THAT ABSOLUTELY LOVES PLAYING IN WATER AND EATING ICE CUBES. One of the pictures has him very wet with an ice cube in his mouth sticking out, so look carefully. He has beautiful eyes too. He is quite shy until he feels comfortable. He stays very close to his human, so we are looking for a family that is home most of the day. He does get along with other little dogs and is a good player.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
