Chocoholics . . . meet Chandler! If you are a Chocolate Lover, we guarantee this boy is going to melt in your hands AND your heart!! He's an extremely friendly and affectionate boy who loves people of all ages. Chandler is your typical Lab, with his share of goofiness and slobbering, but he'll make a Chocolate lover out of anyone! He was pulled on his last day from a high-kill shelter in Arkansas where he was brought in as a stray and never claimed. Now he's in a program we like to call the "Group Home" and we haven't found anything Chandler doesn't love!! He loves to play fetch, he loves walks (even if he walks exuberantly on the leash), he's Labby-active (but not a banana head!!). He knows some basic obedience and he's smart enough to pick up on it quickly. He's just a very happy boy . . . and has the constantly-wagging tail to prove it!
Chandler is about 2 years old which, in “Lab Speak”, translates to “still pretty puppyish” - - he weighs about 65 pounds and we can't see anything but Lab in him. When he was picked up his coat was in terrible shape from neglect, but with great food and TLC, his coat is looking so much better and will be a spectacular gleaming milk chocolate in no time. Give him a chance and he'll make a chocolate lover out of anyone!!
