MEET WOODY! He is a super cool cat who loves everyone- kids, cats, dogs, butterflies- you name it! He's kinda sad because his brother recently got adopted so he is hoping he is next! He is very easy going & LOVES to be the center of attention and in the mix of the family activities. He was raised in an active household so he loves to party! He will also pass out after playing & lay on you in the most hilarious ways! APPLICATION:
Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match.
INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.
APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.
TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc. may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days.
WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
