Hi, My name's Blanco, a young Labrador Retriever at 94 lbs.! I'm on a mission to find someone who loves sloppy kisses, adoring eyes, a wagging tail and unlimited devotion. My friends say I am playful, affectionate and, most importantly, very intelligent. I need a large fenced in yard to play and get my exercise. I enjoy playing fetch then just chilling by your side!! I like all dogs and I have not met cats. I am neutered, up-to-date on all shots, housebroken, crate trained, and pretty good on a leash. I would flourish best with some basic training from you. Due to my size, I am only comfortable around older - gentle children. Lets meet I think you will love me, I will love you, I promise it! We conduct a home check for every potential adoption, ensuring a safe environment. Homes MUST have a physical secured fenced in yard.

Approve Application

We take special care to match the right home with the right pet, ensuring a lifetime of love for both the pet and the adopter.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fees are $200 per pet, which pays for up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming and heart worm prevention and microchip.
Applicants are required to sign a contract.

"MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE". ARF is a small, but very active group of volunteers in south Louisiana who are saving, vetting and caring for dogs rescued from the streets, the pounds, the hurricanes and from owner surrenders. We screen applicants and do home visits to be sure we are matching our pets with the right people!
