My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie was found as a stray in January 2023. I brought her home and got her spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Since then she has lived with me but has never adjusted to my existing cat. They have to be kept separate when I am not home/at night. She is extremely anxious around my other cat and will need a home without other pets and preferably without children. She has had two “UTIs” since I’ve had her. Both times there was no bacterial infection (urinalysis) and the vet stated it is likely due to stress from living with another cat. The vet recommended a wet food diet and rehoming to a single pet household. She LOVES being pet & is excited to see me every morning and when I come home. She does not love being held, but I think in a less stressful environment with a patient pet parent she can warm up to be a very cuddly cat. The adopter will need to be aware that it may take awhile for her to adjust to her new home & she may develop UTI symptoms from the stress of rehoming.
