My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtney is a beautiful, blue eyed baby girl who is new to our rescue. She has a wonderful Aussie loving personality and road home from the pound on my lap!

Courtney was found as a stray and showed up on someone's doorstep. They couldn't find her owner and couldn't keep her, so they took her to the pound where she was rescued from.

Courtney is about 4-5 months old, 12-14 inches high and 15-20 lbs. She will be ready for adoption mid-late February.

FAQ's



* Adoption donations are $150 for mixed dogs, $200 for purebreds and puppies. Donations are tax deductible and help with the vet expenses including but not limited to :
o spayed/neutered

o heartworm tested, treated if need be, placed on monthly preventative

o internal parasite treatment if necessary

o flea treament if necessary, placed on monthly preventative

o vaccinations

o microchip

* Adoptions out of the area are permitted. A volunteer from another rescue in your area may be contacted to help with the homevisit. Animals will not be shipped or transported; the approved adopter must arrange to pick up their new family member.

* Foster to Adopt is a 2 week program to help everyone find the best matched pet. Approved adopters may take home a pet for 2 weeks for a non-refundable donation of $25. Should you choose to keep the pet, the $25 will go towards the adoption donation. This program is only open to adopters within a three hour drive of Take 2 Rescue.
