ALL ADOPTERS MUST LIVE IN THE DFW AREA TO ADOPT A PUPPY FROM LHS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Cotton is 7 weeks old as of 7/27/23. He is a Husky/Great Pyrenees mix puppy (best guess). He was found as stray all by himself and taken to a shelter. Cotton loves playing with toys and exploring. After playing and exploring he enjoys taking a well-deserved nap. Cotton is very smart and responds well to gentle correction when needed. He is also learning how to behave with the bigger dogs in his foster home and to potty outside.
Puppies at this age will require lots of patience and training to become the best pups they can be. Cotton would do best in a home with older, respectful children. Cotton will grow to be an active puppy and would do best in a home with a yard. He currently weighs 8 lbs and is projected weigh around 60-70 lbs We are requesting a donation of $325 for his adoption which includes his neutering, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm. If you're interested in meeting or adopting him, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours. https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ The adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered at the age of 16 weeks per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code. *Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
