Meet Willow a short haired Domestic sweet natured little girl born around June 2023. Willow embodies charm and confidence with a touch of whimsy! She is a warm hearted, social girl that loves to meet new people. She will make the purr-fect cuddlier, even asking to be held. Her affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for any family. In addition to her sweet disposition, Willow is one smart cookie! Whether it's searching for a new toy or for her person, she knows just how to find what she is looking for. She absolutely loves wand toys and will leap and run to catch it showing off he gymnastic abilities. She would do well in a home with other furr buddies and children. Submit Application

Applications are an initial step and are not a guarantee of adoption. We do not do first come first serve basis for applications received

Interview

A representative will contact you by phone to further discuss.

3.
Home Check

This may be in person home visit or virtual visit which will determined after a representative contacts you to further discuss.

4.
Meet the Pet

This may take place at the home visit or after a virtual visit and the location will be determined by a representative.

5.
Approve Application

Once an application is reviewed, a representative contacts you, home visit/virtual visit is completed then your application may be approved.

After the adoption contract is signed and fee is submitted online then placement of your adoptive pet will be arranged within 72 hours or sooner.

More about this rescue

Carolina P.A.W.S. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of compassionate Carolinians, all of whom are volunteers. We are devoted to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs throughout the greater Charlotte area find loving homes. CPAWS does not have a facility and relies entirely on volunteer foster parents to care for an animal until we are able to find a pet their forever home. Our founding members have been collectively involved in animal rescue for over 20 years.

Carolina P.A.W.S. volunteers can be found "in the trenches," rescuing animals at high risk- those starving on the streets, languishing in shelters, and suffering in abusive situations. Each animal has a different past but our promise to them all is the same…a second chance. We provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them physically and emotionally, and care for them in foster homes until they can be placed in loving permanent homes.

Along the way, we prepare them to become wonderful companions by taking the time to socialize them and patiently teaching them to trust. We also spay/neuter each one, provide all inoculations, and ensure that they are in perfect health before being made available for adoption.
