My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Pit Bull X
DOB: 7/2015
Gender: male
Altered: yes
Coat: short
Size: large
Color(s): grey / white
Description:
Hi, I'm Lil Moe, a friendly Pit Bull X in need of a new home. It was down to the wire, but thanks to volunteers who cared enough about me to reach out to rescues on my behalf I was rescued by CARL from Animal Services before my time was up. I'm lucky to be in a foster home with someone who lobbied on my behalf, but what I really want is my forever home.

My foster Mom says I'm the most loving dog. I don't seem to mind her dog or cat. I stop and stare at people because I think everyone is my friend. I always hope they will come say hello and give me a pet. I pay attention to my handler when out for walks. I was quick to get used to the routine in my foster home. I understand basic commands. I enjoy a body message when I get my bath.

I know my breed gets a bad rap, but all I want to do is be everyone's friend and cuddle with you. Who wouldn't want all this love in their lives?

I hope you'll fill out an online application to meet me and decide for yourself. The volunteers saw something special in me, hopefully you will too. In the meantime I'll enjoy my kiddie pool that was bought for me by my Foster's son so I can cool off from the heat. What a thoughtful foster brother I have.

More about this rescue

Canine Adoption and Rescue League is a 501(c)(3) Private Non-Profit No-Kill Organization. We rely on donations and do not receive government, state, or city funding. We operate almost entirely by volunteers.

Since 1996, Canine Adoption and Rescue League has rescued and placed thousands of unwanted, sick, abandoned, and homeless dogs. Dogs in our adoption program are placed in pre-screened, loving and secure homes. We make a lifetime commitment to all of our dogs.

Canine Adoption and Rescue League receives hundreds of calls from people who must find a home for a stray, a litter of puppies or even a family pet.

Canine Adoption and Rescue League's mission is to advocate for animal welfare, seeking to end the needless deaths of companion animals through our adoption, education, and outreach programs.
