Yo! I'm Yoshi! You've probably noticed my bat ears by now. I'm not a bat- I'm a stud! A Shepherd mix stud to be exact & I'm 5 months smart. I adore my foster family but I’m ready to find MY forever family. And because I'm a confident fella I know exactly what I’m looking for. Let’s see if we match.
My likes - All things outside like; running, hiking, swimming, chasing butterflies and rabbits, and wrestling around with my foster brother. Maybe I'm an athlete in the making? Are you active too? Alright, alright, alright... I can hang inside, too. But I will need some toy company (the squeaky ones). Squeaking melodies with my toys is one of my FAVORITE things to do! So much so that I might belt out an occasional "awhooo" vocal at the same time. Mom calls this my one-man band act & hearing her laugh about it sure makes my tail wag. At this point, I bet you are wondering if there are any chill moments with me. I can chill like a champ. I just need to be in the same room as my human because I like to keep tabs on them. And when bedtime rolls around my foster mom always invites me to come up on the bed so that we can cuddle & I sure do like that before I go into my "bat cave" (crate) with a few of my favorite toys for the night.
My vices- "I don't have any"- Yoshi. Okay, Yoshi, I will take it from here. Yoshi is an amazing catch. He is almost completely potty trained, he is 100% crate trained, and he enjoys meeting new people & other dogs. He walks on a leash well but tends to have some reactivity on his leash with runners & bikers that may go past us. However, we are working on and is currently making great improvements.
Yoshi is eager to please & would thrive in an active family that is willing to continue to work on his training. His adoption fee is $400 to help cover his vetting. He is neutered, microchipped, & up to date on shots. If he sounds like your kind of guy, Colorado folks please apply (sorry to the other 49 states 😉).
