My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo is10 8mos old and 50 lbs and still growing. He is a doll. sweetest boy ever but full of ENERGY. He must have a pal his size to play with. and a fenced yard. No EXCEPTIONS almost house trained. if you let him out often enough then no problem. He is dog friendly. Milo is a wonderful boy. his dad was 70 lbs and his mom 50. I expect he will be about 70 lbs since growing so fast. He is chipped and had all his vaccines. He is not neutered since it is advised to wait till 22 mos for health benefits. We can take him back and neuter him later. email for an application Mdcctennis@aol.com
no electric fences . kids over 8 since he is large and can knock them over .

we do a trial foster to adopt. I have new pixs I will post soon/

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have an application to be filled out and upon approval within 2 days we have you meet the dog. Then we arrange a foster/trial adoption week. We also like to schedule a home visit before the final contracts . Our adoption fee ranges from a low $125-to a high of $350 . Most average $225 to cover the cost of our vetting.

Go meet their pets

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

More about this rescue

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.
