My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Allegra! I'm a quiet and sweet petite cat. I'm gentle and love people once I feel safe.

I'm a drooler when happy. I had some ear infections but those are cleared up now. I am trying a hypoallergenic food in case my ear infections were caused by a food allergy.

I was in a foster home at a shelter in Pendleton for a long time and didn't get any attention there so I came to Portland.

I'm a bit scared of other cats and I would be afraid of dogs and kids.

I would make a great companion for a quiet adult home. I'm 100% a magnet cat. I'm a major lap sitter/bedtime cuddler. If you sit down for more than 1 minute with a blanket I am guranteed to sit with you no matter the circumstances/way you are sitting, and I love nothing more than to sleep next you at night. I'm an EXPERT biscuit maker.

I love to play with you! But I will also keep myself busy if necessary, especially with the right toys.I will let you sleep in and I'm not particularly noisy about food at a specific time.I love to window watch for hours.I am not mischievous or a wild climber. I am shy at first with house guests but become comfortable very easily. I'll sit with your house guests too by the end of their visit!

I'm in a foster home so if you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org

My estimated birthdate is 11/16/2017.
