My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOOKING FOR A CONSTANT COMPANION?

I am a happy and friendly girl who loves attention from humans and I'm very affectionate.

Willow enjoys playing outside, is crate trained and housebroken. This intelligent girl is treat motivated and knows the command sit and is continuing to learn more through training sessions. She is good with calm children and loves playing fetch!

Helping Strays offers free training after adoption.

Willow is three years old and weighs 52 pounds.

The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Willow, please stop by the shelter during open hours.

More about this shelter

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
