My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**BUTCH HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Are you looking for a social, happy, and adorable pooch to be your new best friend? Butch might be your guy! Butch was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and is now in a loving and nurturing foster home on Chicago's far southwest side, patiently waiting to meet you. He was found as a stray, so not much is known of his background, but he weighs in at 35 pounds and is estimated to be between 3-5 years of age. Butch appears to be a Puggle, but slightly larger than many are, so he may have some other breeds in his family tree. He's a friendly, confident, and affectionate dude and we think he'll fit in easily with most families. Butch loves to go for long walks, laying out on the deck to soak up rays, and snuggling with his favorite humans. He is being fostered with five other dogs and gets along well with all of his foster siblings. He is also crate-trained and housetrained.
Butch is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and started on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee helps to cover the medical care to prepare him for adoption. Butch is in a foster home on Chicago's far southwest side and can be visited by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. For more information or to receive an application, email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org. Adoption applications and correspondence from the rescue may end up in your spam or junk folder. If you are waiting for our reply, please check those folders regularly.
