Here's what the humans have to say about me:
After being in rescue for over a year, this sweet kitty is more than ready for her forever family. MK and her son, BK came to us after after a kind hearted person took them in then sadly, she passed away. We originally thought they were bonded and needed to be adopted together but after introducing a new foster kitten into the mix, they've shown that while they love each other, they can bond with other animals. They'd love to go together if anyone is open to a pair. We do offer a discount for pair adoptions.
This sweet girl was initially shy and took a little while to open up but she has BLOSSOMED! She comes out for pets, has the best time rolling around on rugs, has picked her favorite perch by the front window, and is amazing with dogs. She needs a little introduction for new cats but warms up . Another cute MK tidbit is that she's vocal and loves to tell you she's missed you or that you're 30 seconds late to feed her. Right now MK prefers sitting next to you for head rubs and walking across your lap. She also rubs your legs until you pay the "petting toll". MK is fully vetted, litter boxed trained, and ready to live her best life.
Either together or separate, this dynamic duo have been looking for their families for over a year and we're hoping this is their time to shine! Both cats will make amazing additions to the right homes. They're loving, sweet, young, and do funny cat things while still balancing people to alone time. If you are interested in giving these sweet cats a home, please apply today via this link: dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms. We'll forward that to their foster who will reach out to answer any questions.
