My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is approximately 2 years old and possibly a Shepherd mix.  He has a gorgeous coat and tail, a beautiful smile and eyes that he knows he can get away with anything with!  He is very friendly, loves people and is very motivated by praise and food.  Bear is crate trained and will not have an accident in his crate, but unfortunately we cannot give him free reign of our home here because we have cats and raccoons, which he is a little too interested in currently.  This will most likely go away after he is settled into a routine and gets to know his people, but we do have to share our time here due to being a smaller rescue.  Bear is definitely the type to love his humans and do anything for them, as well as bond quickly with them.

He comes fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, on heartworm and flea prevention, plus neutered.  His adoption fee is $300 and applications can be submitted here (we are currently working on our website and switching our database to Shelterluv):  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IDFL/Dog

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires an application to be approved prior to meeting one of our rescues, then we set up a meet & greet, followed by a home check and then the adoption may be finalized. We do require an adoption fee, which varies based upon the medical care given and training provided.

Go meet their pets

The first Saturday of every month we are at Irish Trails in Clermont from 12-3 with pets available for adoption, pets who have been adopted and their "parents," training advice, CGC tests and a lot more!
