*Hi! My name is Bailey, but my foster family calls me Bear. I think it’s because I look like a brown bear 🐻 but I would never attack even a flea. I actually have 3 colors on my beautiful body. They call it a tri-color bully. I have a blond eyebrow too! I’m about 4-5 years old and weigh 45lbs. I was a mommy many times during my short life and I am ready for my retirement!
I love all people including kids (as long as they are big enough for me not to knock them over accidentally). I really love when my foster family kissed me and tells me they love me, and when my foster mama pats my cute little booty.
I like having a dog foster sister. She’s mellow and lets me play with her toys and bones. I always give them back when she asks. I don’t get angry about sharing my treats, toys or food either.
My long, lush lashes scratch my eyes and it hurts. Even though I’m getting a minor surgery soon to help with his, I’ll need drops to make them feel better for my entire life. I sit still perfectly when you puts them in my eyes. It doesn’t hurt and I know it makes me feel better.
When I was a professional puppy maker, I never learned how to potty outside because I lived in a crate. But….. I am learning all about it now. I have a little more work to do but I’m trying my best. My foster parents take me out to go potty all the time and I’m getting the hang of it. I always go poopy outside though. Since I’m still learning the ways of being a house dog, I wear a washable diaper sometimes during the day, and at night because sometimes I can’t hold it all night.
Guess what my favorite thing to do is???? I love to be outside! When the weather is nice and cool in the shade, we all spend a lot of time on the deck relaxing. I chew my bones and watch the birds. Of course this is only in the mornings and evenings when it’s cool. During the day I go out to potty and stay a couple minutes if it’s hot. We’ve been lucky it’s been nice outside lately. I don’t have unfavorite things in my life, but my ability to do go down stairs is limited. I don’t mind going down 3 stairs from the deck to go potty though. Anymore than that I like to have help.
I am a very noisy sleeper of course but I sleep in my crate in the living room with my foster sister. She’s noisy too so we make beautiful music together. I love having a sister. I like my foster cats too! I have no plans to taste them. I do like to sniff them. They’re not thrilled about that so they watch out where I’m at so they don’t get sniffed.
I’ll be waiting to hear from you. I’m off to the deck to watch the birds now.
