Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nuke and that's because he has been working very hard with a positive reinforcement trainer to reduce his excitability around other dogs. The process is slow but he has definitely made positive gains and we're very proud of Nuke. While working on the introduction to dogs, we must also let you know that he absolutely LOVES LOVES people. We calmly make introductions, as is done with all dogs, and he is in heaven--Yahoo, new people to give him attention and of course treats makes Nuke a very happy boy!
So who is the perfect adopter for Nukey? If you live in a bit more rural area with a large fenced yard, no dogs walking by the fence, and Nuke would be your one and only dog, he would flourish with you. He would be a loyal companion. We know that not all dogs yearn for the company of other dogs. Nuke also learns faster than most. If you have any desire to pursue agility training, Nuke might really enjoy that challenge. He also enjoys helping in the garden and, if you fill up a baby pool, you will always know where he is--he is definitely a water dog.
Nuke will bring joy to his adopter and his forever home. He wants to be a part of a family that will just enjoy him. No need for another dog. He will bring you enough love all by himself.
