My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a new addition at the rescue! We committed to taking him from an animal shelter since he was running out of time and was reported to be a wonderful dog but we got false information he had been adopted. Thankfully, someone noticed the mishap and let us know he was still at the shelter so we raced over to get him. We’re so glad because he is such a cutie! Rocky is still underweight but slowly gaining and eating well. He’s about 3 years old with energy to burn so he needs an active, fun home. He is currently kenneled alone so his diet can be monitored but he seems to really like other dogs so we’d love to see him go home with a playmate to help burn off some energy. He knows “sit” and “down” and he’s been a super friendly guy to everyone so far. He does jump up so small kids or anyone physically limited in the home isn’t a great match, at least until he has some training.
