Barry is an adorable boy with red fur and white on his toes, chest, and a strip on his nose. Barry is a tug of war and water CHAMPION!!! He has the most fun when playing in water! He is best for someone who has an active lifestyle and needs a companion to match their energy. When he's not chasing a ball or being the next Doggo Phelps he's looming for his next round of tug of war. He is full of energy and would love his own backyard to run in. Barry's estimated DOB is 5/01/2022.
HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.

Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.

We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
