Ivory came in as part of a litter some months ago. He was adopted but recently returned. Although it has not been medically confirmed as of this writing, we suspect he may be hearing impaired, which is quite common in white animals (I have one, too). To date, he has not done particularly well with other animals, either cats or dogs. We aren't entirely sure if it is a defense mechanism or bad experience or something else, but currently we would recommend him being an only cat. Can this change? Absolutely! He is really only a teenager and may just need all that one on one attention to get over himself. On the plus side, he is oh so beautiful long hair and sits pretty for pictures! Ivory is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for Fiv/FeLV. Like all animals, hearing impaired or not, he can hear your love.
