Monkey is approximately 4 months old and neutered.  He is currently in a foster home. Monkey is by far the best kitty we have and the one we have had the longest. Monkey has a sensitive stomach and will need to stay on a consistent quality dry food.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.

Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats

All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.

Additional adoption info

We want to encourage serious adopters to check out of great babies. We spend much time working with our felines to prepare them for their new homes. We know their personalities and likes and dislikes. In a pet store, you just don't know much about the feline. Cats are very different. We want to make sure you adopt a great forever friend.

Watch our fb page for local events and please stop by and meet our sweet babies. We also welcome visitors to meet our fosters, either in our home or in a common location.

More about this rescue

Our soul purpose for everything we do is to keep the babies from landing in the shelter. Cats just multiply so quickly, that we can’t leave any cats unspayed or all our efforts are in vain. In order to do this, we have to change the mindset of not only our community, but our region, our state, and even the states around us. There is no way to keep your area free of excess kitties, when the areas around you are posting free kitties daily. We have to join together as a state and grow in volunteer numbers, until we have the resources to control the endless breeding.
We welcome anyone and everyone to join our fight. Even if you are not local, you can still help us. We constantly need adopters, quality rescues, shares of our needs, and sadly, without money, we are extremely limited in our efforts. Truth is, very few people can spay their cats or they would have without our help.
