My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WEIGHT: ~10lbs.

This is Atlas. A cat who's always down for leashed adventures (check out photo #3).

Atlas has been in a wonderful foster home for about a month, after finding the shelter quite intolerable. See, she's not a cat's cat. And the fact that so many of her own kind were within smelling distance...was a fact that she just could not accept. So, off to a no-cat foster home she went!
And now we are seeing the true, sweet, playful, agreeable, leash-walkable cat that we knew she was! Here are some things we've learned about Atlas while she's been in foster:

- She loves toys and is very playful.
- She loves leashed-walkies.
- Her favorite place is a cat tree by a large window.
- Once she knows you, she doesn't mind being picked up and will snuggle in your hair and allow kissies.
- She's skittish with loud noises.
- She's got a human circadian rhythm and will not wake you up early.
- She's met cat-friendly dogs, and come nose to nose, without issue.
- She's perfectly behaved in the home.
- She loves to look out the window and watch the birds fly by.
- Her favorite thing is sleep on the porch out in the sun.
- Atlas is friendly with everyone who comes in. She goes right up to them and greets them.
- She has a quirky personality, and it will come through the longer you have her.
- The neighbors all love her and comment how cute she is.

Doesn't she sound like a cool cat? If you think so, fill out an Adopter's Profile and we'll be in touch! OR just share this post to help get Atlas in front of more folks.
