My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack-Jack here is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, 9 months old, weighing 21 lbs. Like his incredible superhero namesake, he can do it all and is a super pup! He is a great puppy, with the cutest ears where one is floppy and one sticks up! Foster parent thinks he will do very well in most home environments.

Jack-Jack seems to love doing everything dogs do: playing with his foster siblings, with toys, chewing on bones, running around a yard, and fetching with a ball in the house.

He is a friend to everyone he meets, but it might take him a few minutes to warm-up to people or other dogs. He is also great around cats, and likes kids as well! He may bark when other people come in the room, but foster mom thinks this will improve over time. Jack-Jack has chosen his foster mom as his "person" in his current home, and prefers that she's close by. He sleeps nicely in a dog bed at her feet while she works, or is happy in anyone's lap if his mom is not available.

This young puppy is doing well at house-training, keeps his crate clean, and great in his crate at night, only barking for a couple minutes to let you know his feelings about this, then settles down. His foster home is accident-free, he does not tell his mom when he has to go, but is on a routine to go outside, and uses a doggy door. If that's not all, he has mastered the command "sit"!

Be Jack-Jack's hero and apply to take him home today!

His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
