Nova is approximately 8 months old and about 50 pounds. I adopted her from a puppy rescue in NY where she was transported to from the south at 4 months old. I do not have much history other than coming from the south, but in the time I’ve known her she is a sweet girl-loves to give kisses on your face, loves being around people, loves a good adventure and then sleeping under the blankets with you at night.
Unfortunately, I have several cats in the home whom she chases constantly causing a lot of stress in the household. She is a very social dog, she LOVES other dogs—I have spoken with a trainer and she would really benefit from a household with a household with another dog. She engages in some boredom behaviors like destructive chewing and pacing, likely due to boredom. I just cannot provide her with the lifestyle she needs.
She requires a home with:
•An experienced adopter willing to train
•fenced in yard
•dog companion
•no cats/small animals in the home
