My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm one of the most popular cats here at the sanctuary. EVERYBODY knows me. I'm fun and active and really affectionate. I follow everyone around to see what they're doing and check on their work, kind of like quality control. I also try and sneak into buildings I'm not supposed to. Did you see me on FB? I just participated in YOGA!!!

Mission Statement

Fat Kitty City Humane Society (The Agee Memorial Wildlife Fund, Inc.) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.

Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.

When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.

Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.

To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.

Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).

Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.

Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
