My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy is a fabulous little dog and has been a great member of our pack. Unfortunately as we've added more humans to the family, Percy is getting lost in the shuffle and not receiving near the attention he was accustom too.

Percy would do best in family with at least one other dog- big or small. He's never been around cats but think he would do fine. He loves to burrow under blankets on the couch or preferably in the bed but he is crate trained and has always loved being in his crate at night. Completely house trained, does well on a leash but doesn't get many walks these days.

Percy is a long-hair miniature dachshund, but he is on the larger side for a miniature. No health problems and he has received regular vaccinations, heartworm, flea/tick prevention.

We're really not interested in a fee, just a good home for this little guy. We tried to place with an older family member but Percy really needs to be part of a pack.
