My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snowy is a good girl who just needs time to warm up to other kitty's. She is spayed and microchipped. She tested negative for feline aids and feline leukemia. She has had all the necessary vaccines, including rabies. She is 2 years old and weighs 8 lbs.  Snowy doesn't like being picked up but she welcomes all the pets you would like to give her, especially in the mornings.  She is litter box trained and loves lying on the bed!! If you think that you are the right home for Snowy please fill out the adoption application at http://www.tailsoftheunwanted.org/

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All dogs are fully vetted, have age appropriate core vaccinations, and have been spayed/neutered and microchiped. 100% of the adoption fees go back to helping us rescue more dogs.

Our adoption process consists of an application, phone or face to face interview, home visit and reference checks. If you are approved to adopt from Tails of the Unwanted, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are placed in foster homes around North Carolina and currently in the Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point and Salisbury areas. We want our dogs to be placed in a loving and caring home and will arrange meet and greets with approved adopters.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue that networks and promote shelter dogs at risk of being euthanized at high kill shelters. If no one comes to their rescue, we step in. We are always looking for fosters and donations as well as volunteers so that we can continue to save the dogs who have run out of time at the high kill shelters.
