What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Are you looking for a sweet but goofy companion? A pup who will keep you on your toes? Riley may be your man! He was found as a very skinny stray in Dec 2022, and has been in foster since - he really wants to find his forever home! Riley is a beautiful male GSD; he is up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered, microchipped. While he is heartworm-positive (on slow-kill treatment), he is otherwise healthy.
Riley is a typical GSD diva - intelligent, loyal, velcro, protective and addicted to squeaky balls. He is a quick learner - he is housebroken, crate-trained, and has mastered basic obedience, loose-leash walking, and some tricks. Riley’s main challenge is leash reactivity towards other dogs and cyclists. He has gone through intensive training to gain general life skills and work on his reactivity.
Riley would do best with an experienced GSD pawrent who will spend lots of time with him, in a home with a fenced yard but no other dogs/cats/children. Contact us - Riley is waiting!!
