My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Cash! I was found in the forest tied to a tree, luckily some nice humans found me and I have been available for adoption since August! I am very sweet, love to give nose boops, and eat kongs and other enrichment treats! I am working on my social skills and other things like sit, down, touch, come, and so much more! I am also making loads of progress being able to be walked around other dogs, being calm & relaxed, & disengaging from other dogs. I am making a lot of progress and can't wait to show my new human how amazing and affectionate I am! If you are willing to give me the chance, I will show you how truly amazing I am!

More about this shelter

The Routt County Humane Society, Inc., (RCHS) is a 501(c)3 organization, established in 1985 to serve the welfare of animals in Routt County, Colorado. Since its inception, RCHS has worked in partnership with the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter (SSAS), a facility of City of Steamboat Springs to provide veterinary care for shelter animals as well as spay/neuter to reduce future unwanted pet population. We have also become a source of assistance for low-income family pets.
