Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Joy to CCPAL Rescue. Joy is a Great Pyrenees. She is a 1-year-old and she weighs about 80 pounds. She is a guardian breed dog. She came to the rescue because her owner lived in an apartment and her owner thought she was too affectionate. Great Pyrenees are best with a home that has a fenced yard. She would be great with children. She has a long coat and regular brushing will be needed to keep her beautiful and mat free. We would love someone that knows the Great Pyrenees breed. She is potty trained and good on a leash. She is a wonderful gem and we are fortunate to be finding her forever home. We are looking for an owner that likes an affectionate dog that likes to be touched and will nudge for more. She is good with other dogs and strangers. She will bond deeply with her owner and be protective as she will think that is her job. She is getting her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
