Breed: Lop mix
Size: About 4-5 lbs at full size we’re estimating
DOB: About two years old as of August 2023
Reason in Rescue: This guy was owner surrendered due to allergies.
Personality: Rhysand is personality times ten. The first few days he was very scared of hands reaching into his cage and would feign trying to bite and box at you. We’ve been working with him a ton and he’s so much better now and lets us reach in his cage and pet him and pick him up. Once you get him, he is just the loveliest, snuggliest boy who loves being petted and will flatten out for love. Because of being scared in his cage we recommend a larger size area like a puppy pen or him being free range. He’s such a sweet boy who I think has had it hard in the past and just deserves a home that will love him! He is very good with his litter box!
Friends: Rhysand is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter, and microchip. Adoption fee will change to $100 when he gets his second RHDV vaccine on 9/4
