United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
#A5567786 Miss Prettyface is a charming 2 year old steel gray and white spayed female Pit Bull who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 17. Weighing 55 lbs Miss Prettyface lives up to her name with an adorable face that has a “Phantom of the Opera” mask on one side. A happy active girl who is curious about the world, Miss Prettyface would be a delightful activity partner for jogging or hiking. She seems to know Sit and Down and just needs some practice on leash. She’s tolerant of other dogs and OK for homes with other large dogs. Sometimes Miss Prettyface gets pretty excited to meet other dogs and could be a bit overly friendly with shy ones but with proper introductions and more socialization she will learn her manners. The shelter’s staff adores her and it could be because, as our volunteer described her, Miss Prettyface is “kinda perfect,” and we agree!
