This little boy was picked up from the street by our local animal control along with his Mom and brother
He is approx 4 months old and 9 lbs as of August 2023, he will probably be in the 20-25 lb range when full grown
he is a typical puppy, run, play, eat and sleep... he loves playing in the yard with his buddies and is doing pretty well on his house training and will run out to the yard with everyone else to go to the bathroom
we are not sure of his breed mix,he may have some lab in him , his mom is a german shepherd mix but he looks nothing like his mom
he will need a fully fenced in yard and lots of toys !

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years.
WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER
The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip.transport and the required interstate health certificate..The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. care. We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.

All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog in their residence until it is adopted. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
