My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Memphis is new to rescue as of 5/29/10. She is currently in a foster home and has completely stolen foster mom's heart! Memphis is a sweet, silly little girl, who only weighs around 32#. She's a youngster and is the definition of pure, unadulterated JOY! The way she hops back and forth from her front feet to her back feet would melt the coldest of hearts. She is working on her housebreaking and seems to be a fast learner. We don't know much about her history, just that she was a stray and seems no worse for the wear. She has managed to maintain a delightfully charming personality through her ordeal!

She will be going to the vet next week for her shots, heartworm test, microchip and spay. Then Memphis will be ready for her forever home. So if you could use some joy in your life, you might want to check out Memphis - she's irresistible.

Our dogs are placed in foster homes and are part of our families. We work on basic obedience training, crate-training, and socialization as much as each foster home is able. The dog's behavior is thoroughly evaluated and we have a firm sense of their temperament and personality. Each dog is given lots of love and treats!
