Ryker is a handsome, friendly, silly pitbull mix. He came to us through no fault of his own--his owner was no longer able to care for him.

Full of puppy energy, Ryker needs an active owner or family who will channel his energy and keep him mentally stimulated. A fence is not required, but would be preferred as he really needs a place to run. He walks nicely on a leash. Wiggly and happy, Ryker just loves attention and is good with other dogs and kids. His energy may be a lot for little children, but older kids who will play ball and take him for walks would be awesome. Ryker is neutered and updated with vaccines and is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.

Haven to Home Canine Rescue is an all volunteer organization that was founded in June 2008. We do not have a shelter, but use foster homes to care for the dogs that are awaiting their forever homes. FOSTER HOMES are the HAVEN in Haven to Home. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization.
