My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny is a 4 year old female shepherd mix who weighs approximately 45lbs. Penny absolutely thrives being around other dogs, so a home with another dog would be ideal! She also seems to bond best with females as males make her a bit nervous, so a home with a female that is willing to give this girl some much needed love would be her first pick! In her prior home, we were told that Penny did very well with other animals, including cats and guinea pigs. She has recently completed our "cell dog" prison training program, where she learned some great leash training and basic obedience.

Apply here to meet Penny and see if she would be the best addition to your family: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html
Penny's adoption fee is $200, which includes her dewormings, vaccines and spay & microchip (with a lifetime membership).
Ideally, ALL members of the family should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed. *Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by ALL family members. Thank you!
