Please meet our sweet, 4-5 yr. old angel, Waffles!
Waffles found himself lost and picked up by a local animal control officer.
Unfortunately, shelter life was no place for Waffles!
Waffles was so terrified of everything around him, he completely shut down. Sadly, this categorized him as difficult to adopt since he was so scared, so he found himself on the euthanasia list to make space.
Luckily, the shelter reached out to let us know all about this angel, so we were able to spring him from his scary circumstance.
Waffles immediately turned on the charm as soon as he was in foster! He got to meet so many other dogs, kitties & small children that reminded him that there are beautiful beings out there to help him acclimate back to a home life!
Waffles has all of his required vaccines (Rabies included), is neutered, heartworm negative, has been microchipped and is expertly potty trained!
Sweet Waffles did have to have about 8 teeth removed due to some trauma and/or neglect, but no critical teeth that stop him from enjoying a good chew, playing tug or eating his favorite meals!
Waffles loves all dogs, but can be a little nervous & unsure around bigger dogs. His 65 lb foster brother is tolerated though and definitely share space well. But Waffles is non-stop play with smaller dogs close to his size!
We can't say enough about how snuggly and sweet this little guy is! He loves burrowing under blankets next to you and curling up around your neck every chance he gets!!
