This special girl is Ari!

Ari has been with us for a while now. She came to us in June of 2023. Ari took a while to warm up to new people, but now she is very comfortable with people and asks for affection. She was adopted out once, then returned. Upon being returned, Ari went into foster with one of our medical staff members. When she came to us, she had multiple masses and a mass on the top of her head that has since been surgically removed. The mass was positive for Mast Cells. She has taken medication to help shrink the remaining masses, and they have been removed as well. Ari will need to remain on the Famotidine and Benadryl for the remainder of her life. She has been through a lot in a short amount of time, so she has been on anxiety medications to help. The last treatment she needs is heartworm treatment.
Ari is an amazing dog with a wonderful spirit. She does well other dogs. Ari is a love bug and wants to be with her person at all times. She would be best placed with an owner who works from home, or one that she can go with her owner to places.
