This is my sweet ~8-9 year old tri corgi, Gerty. I am hopeful there's a loving home for her and someone who can love her as much as I do. I adopted Gerty one and a half years ago from an elderly woman moving into a nursing home. I fell in love with Gerty immediately. Gerty was morbidly obese (50 pounds!), never ate dog food, and rarely walked outside. She quickly acclimated to a more healthy and happy lifestyle, and now weighs 32 pounds. She loves playing with toys and bones, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch. She is house-trained, holds her pee all day even when I work 11 hours, spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is crate-trained, and enjoys sleeping there at night. Gerty is largely a couch potato and super easygoing. However, she is NOT dog friendly and must be the only dog. She is set in her ways and will lash out at other dogs. Please help me find her a loving home she deserves.
