My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a precious 2 year old Bassett Hound. We joke that she is like Donkey on Shrek, she can win over anyone (including cats and dogs). She loves to lay in the sunshine on the front porch, run and wrestle with our blue heeler, and snuggle on the couch in the evenings. She's a joy. Occasionally, she does steal a shoe and bring it out on the front porch. She doesn't chew it up, just pulls the sole out lol. She did go through some growing pains, she had a sore back and left front leg. Now there are no signs of it, just an occasional stretch after laying on the floor. I would really like to be picky with the family that chooses her. These are things I feel she needs:
-access to inside and outside. (we had a doggie door she could go in and out throughout the day)
-a companion (she grew up with our blue heeler, she thrives with another dog to play with)
-lots of love. (which will not be hard lol)
-a solid fence. (she is a true Bassett Hound. she will roam!)
