SOCKS Foster Darby is now available for adoption! Darby is about a year old Cocker mix and we have sent off her DNA. She is a Velcro dog with her foster mom Cheryl and is timid when meeting new people but warms up fast. Her coloring is gorgeous and she has a beautiful long tail. She’s starting to play with toys and has a monkey and a Christmas tree that are her favorites. She is potty trained. She’s very gentle when taking treats out of your hand. She’s only barked a few times since she’s been with her foster mom. She does like to sleep on the big bed and in a dog bed.

SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm testing and be able to provide proof of purchase of HW prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
