My story

BREED: CALIFORNIAN/NEW ZEALAND MIX

ADOPTION FEE: $200

Meet Jorie + Mortie—a.k.a. the dynamic duo! This adorable pair has quite the history together. Back in May of 2020, they were a part of our first EVER rabbit rescue where they (alongside their siblings & parents) were saved from an extremely heartbreaking + horrific slaughter situation.

In December of 2020 they were adopted into a home in which they thought would be their forever, however, they were sadly mistaken. Just a couple of months ago they found themselves back in our care at no fault of their own as the adopter’s boyfriend was allergic. So… here they are, eager & ready, looking for their second chance at love!

Jorie + Mortie spend their days just like any other jolly bunnies would—romping around, eating yummy food, cozying up together, + getting the absolute cutest zoomies! These busy buns would definitely appreciate a large space to explore initially, where they can eventually free roam once they’re fully comfortable & confident.

So what do you say? Does your heart have the capacity to welcome these once broken, helpless beings who are now absolutely flourishing & adore their people? I mean… who wouldn’t want these sweet, lovable faces to greet them after a long day?!

We only adopt to homes that will allow free roam and/or a space at least 60 square feet. No cages!
